Investigations of aerosol emissions, transport and sinks using various remote sensing techniques

Aerosols are defined as microscopic liquid or solid particles that enter the atmosphere through natural and man-made processes. Aerosols are more complicated than the typical greenhouse gases. There are some aerosols that cause cooling while others cause warming. Aerosols typically have a negative effect on human health, the climate and the environment.

The aim of this project is to Identify aerosol/s hotspots, track the aerosols and find the sinks of the aerosols using various techniques.
